As a Machine Learning Engineer at Adobe Express, you will develop ML models, platforms, and services that enhance Adobe Express's AI capabilities.

About the Team

The AI Foundation Team focuses on building a cutting-edge AI stack by combining internal and external technologies to boost feature speed and quality. The team works collaboratively to develop ML models and services that improve user experience on Adobe Express.

What You'll Do

• Research, design, and implement advanced ML models and pipelines for large-scale training and inference, using techniques such as computer vision, NLP, deep learning, and generative AI.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent-based frameworks to enable multimodal creative workflows with context-aware content generation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product requirements into ML solutions, moving from proofs-of-concept to fully productionized services.
• Develop platforms for continuous training, experimentation, A/B testing, and monitoring to maintain high model quality and relevance.
• Use distributed computing and cloud infrastructure for large-scale data processing, feature engineering, and real-time inference optimized for performance and cost.
• Implement APIs and microservices serving ML models, ensuring security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Stay updated on emerging ML research, tools, and frameworks, including sophisticated LLMs, reinforcement learning, and inference optimization techniques.

Requirements:

• PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields
• Proficient in Python and Java for ML model development and system integration
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Experience with LLMs and agent frameworks for AI-based experiences
• Strong knowledge of computer vision and NLP for multimodal content understanding and generation
• Experience in Creative or Imaging domains preferred
• Experience developing and deploying RESTful web services and microservices for ML applications
• Proficiency with UNIX, Git version control, and Jenkins for CI/CD processes
